What is Crab Island?

Nobody asked: "What if game NPCs ran their logic entirely on the GPU?". Crab Island answered anyway. Crab Island generates random 3D islands, and it runs in a web browser without any installation required. Also, there's lots of crabs! Find out more about Crab Island.

System Requirements

WebGPU required

WebGPU is required to run Crab Island. Not sure if your browser supports WebGPU?

Google Chrome Recommended

Crab Island works best in Google Chrome or similar Chromium-based web browsers.

On Windows, MacOS, or Android 12 (or newer), the latest Chrome browser is recommended.

On Android 11 (or older), you must install Chrome Dev and set the enable-unsafe-webgpu flag. How?

On Linux or Steam Deck, you must set the enable-unsafe-webgpu flag. How?

On iOS v26+, Safari is recommended. On older versions, use Google Chrome.
